It's hard to believe that Emily Kathryn Photography moved to Chatham almost one year ago! While I absolutely loved having my business in Altavista for three years, once our family moved to Gretna we knew that we would one day LOVE to have the business closer to home. I've always loved Chatham...it's so quaint, overflowing with history and charm...so having my business there is a dream come true.
Here is our new home, 10 North Main Street in Chatham! This photo was taken right before we started working on the space. We couldn't have dreamed up a better building. It was originally the Planters Bank & Trust, so it still has a vault inside (so cool!), as well as beautiful original hardwood floors and a gorgeous decorative ceiling. All it needed was a little TLC and it looks better than ever now! I'll have to do a post soon with the "after" photos. :)
One aspect of Emily Kathryn Photography that sets us apart is that our senior sessions include professional airbrush makeup and hairstyling. So another SUPER exciting part of my move to Chatham is that I actually share this space with my friend and longtime hair/makeup artist, Rachael at Mint on Main! Check out her site when you're done here to see some of her work! She oozes with talent. I love that my senior girls can now just come to one place for hair, makeup AND photos! It's a great partnership!
